Yes, we have a build in censor that can detect if the phone is shut down because the battery died or if it was done intentionally.

Employee application is available for Android and iOS on respective App Stores.Also, you can access your master dashboard on any machine as it's a cloud based solution.

Does the Employee location tracking feature invade the privacy of my employees?

Absolutely not! The app is only in tracking mode when that employee is signed into work for the day, and is disconnected when he logs out. It does not track employee location during off job.
